This video includes historic footage of NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans. Michoud played a role in all NASA’s human spaceflight programs to date including the Saturn V that sent the Apollo missions to the Moon and the Space Shuttle Program that used 135 tanks made at Michoud. Today, Michoud is playing a key role in building hardware for NASA’s Space Launch System and Orion spacecraft that will send humans to the Moonon the Artemis missions in preparation for even longer missions to Mars.
