Teams at NASA’s Michoud Assembly Facility in New Orleans lift liquid oxygen (LOX) tank for Core Stage 3 and the liquid hydrogen (LH2) tank for Core Stage 4 in this timelapse video. The first segment displays the removal of the LH2 tank from the Vertical Assembly Center (VAC) before it is set down into production Cell A on November 14. The video following shows a liquid oxygen tank lifted from a horizontal to a vertical position and placed into production Cell A on July 12. Both tanks will be used on the core stages of NASA’s SLS (Space Launch System) rocket for its Artemis mission.
