"Self Protection for Women,"sponsored by the Federal Women's Program Committee and the Training Office, will be held June 10 in the Activities Center. This presentation contains practical self-defense techniques that can be learned in ONE hour. Lt. Jim Bullard of the Memphis Police Department, the originator of the program, considers it as pertinent to men as it is to women. Bullard's emphasis is proper "attitude," without which self defense techniques are meaningless. Published in Langley Researcher, May 20,1983 page 2.
