
STS-92 Mission Specialists Michael Lopez-Alegria (center) and Jeff Wisoff (right) check out the Integrated Truss Structure Z1, a component of the International Space Station and payload on their mission. They and other crew members are taking part in Crew Equipment Interface Test (CEIT) activities while at KSC. The Z1 truss is an early exterior framework to allow the first U.S. solar arrays on a future flight to be temporarily installed on Unity for early power.
