Representatives from NASA participate in a media event at the agency’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida on Tuesday, Feb. 21 upon the arrival of NASA astronauts Stephen Bowen and Woody Hoburg, who will serve as spacecraft commander and pilot, respectively. UAE (United Arab Emirates) astronaut Sultan Alneyadi and Roscosmos cosmonaut Andrey Fedyaev will join as mission specialists, in advance of NASA’s SpaceX Crew-6 mission to the International Space Station as part of NASA’s Commercial Crew Program. Participants include: Kelvin Manning, deputy director, NASA’s Kennedy Space Center; Kathryn Lueders, Dana Hutcherson, deputy manager, Commercial Crew Program, Kennedy and Salem AlMarri. Director General, Mohammaed Bin Rashid Space Centre, UAE. Launch is currently targeted 2:07 a.m. EST Sunday, Feb. 26. The SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, named Endeavour by the Crew-1 astronauts, will launch on a Falcon 9 rocket from historic Launch Complex 39A at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida.
