NASA’s Orion spacecraft has taken another major step in its preparation for the Artemis I mission. After completing fueling and servicing checks at Kennedy Space Center’s Multi-Payload Processing Facility, the capsule was transported to the Florida spaceport’s Launch Abort System Facility, where components of the launch abort system will be integrated onto the spacecraft. A SpaceX cargo Dragon spacecraft, which launched from Kennedy Space Center, returned to Earth from the International Space Station. Carrying important science investigations, Dragon splashed down in the Gulf of Mexico, near Tallahassee. It marked the second splashdown of a U.S. commercial cargo spacecraft off the Florida coast.
