Mike Hopkins, Victor Glover, Shannon Walker, and Soichi Noguchi made history on the first crew rotation flight of a U.S. commercial spacecraft with astronauts to the space station. They lifted off from Kennedy Space Center’s Launch Complex 39A on NASA’s SpaceX Crew-1 mission. Also, segments of solid rocket boosters for NASA’s Space Launch System, or SLS, arrived at Kennedy’s iconic Vehicle Assembly Building. The boosters will help support the weight of the remaining rocket pieces and Orion spacecraft.
