Prelaunch News Conference briefers present in three segments. The first segment includes Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen, associate administrator for Science Mission Directorate from NASA Headquarters; Johann-Dietrich Worner, Director-General from the European Space Agency (ESA); Pierrik Vuilleumier, Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich project manager from ESA; and Parag Vaze, Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich project manager from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory. The second set of guests includes Tim Dunn, NASA launch director from Launch Services Program at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center, and Julianna Scheinman, program manager for NASA Launch Services from SpaceX. The third and final segment of guests includes Col. Anthony Mastalir, commander from 30th Space Wing and Western Launch and Test Range, and Capt. John Ott, weather officer, 30th Space Wing. Sentinel-6 Michael Freilich is scheduled to launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket at 9:17 a.m. PST (12:17 p.m. EST) on Saturday, Nov. 21, from Vandenberg Air Force Base. NASA’s Launch Services Program based at Kennedy Space Center in Florida is responsible for launch management.
