CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – An out-of-the-way creek off Schwartz Road on NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida is filled with alligators just minding their own business as the cameraman approaches. Once in danger of becoming extinct, today there are more than 1,000,000 alligators in Florida alone. The undeveloped property on Kennedy Space Center is managed by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service through the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge.
