CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – At Cape Canaveral Air Force Station's Launch Complex 40 the SpaceX-3 mission to the International Space Station was postponed due to a helium leak on the Falcon 9 rocket's first stage. The next launch opportunity would be Friday, April 18 at 3:25 p.m. EDT if the issue can be resolved. Scheduled to be launched atop a Falcon 9 rocket, the Dragon spacecraft will be marking its fourth trip to the space station. The SpaceX-3 mission carrying almost 2.5 tons of supplies, technology and science experiments is the third of 12 flights contracted by NASA to resupply the orbiting laboratory.
