VIERA, Fla. – The public gets a close view of a full-scale test version of NASA's new Orion Multi-Purpose Crew Vehicle on display outside the Space Coast Stadium at the stadium’s Space Day. Bob Cabana, director of NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, was on hand to throw the first pitch of a spring training game between Major League Baseball's Washington Nationals and the Houston Astros. Kennedy also set up a booth at the stadium for the occasion to highlight some of the contributions the space agency has made to sports, transportation and everyday life.
