
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – In Orbiter Processing Facility-1 at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Center Director Robert Cabana (center) is on hand for the final power down of space shuttle Discovery during Space Shuttle Program transition and retirement activities. "Power down" follows the final closure of Discovery's payload bay doors. Discovery is being prepared for public display at the Smithsonian’s National Air and Space Museum Steven F.
