
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. -- An Anhinga perches in a shrub in the Merritt Island National Wildlife Refuge, which borders NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida. Anhingas inhabit freshwater ponds and swamps with thick vegetation.
