CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. – From the Launch Control Center at NASA's Kennedy Space Center in Florida, Center Director Bob Cabana gets the news that launch of space shuttle Endeavour on the STS-127 mission was scrubbed at 7:02 p.m. EDT due to weather conditions near the Shuttle Landing Facility at Kennedy that violated rules for launching. The runway would be needed in the unlikely event that Endeavour would have to make an emergency landing back at Kennedy. Launch was rescheduled for July 13 at 6:51 p.m. EDT.
