CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. –– At left, U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame member Al Worden congratulates astronaut William Shepherd (center) on his induction into the hall of fame during the ceremony held at NASA's Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex in Florida. At right is Center Director Bob Cabana, who is a member of the hall of fame. Shepherd was commander of the first crew to live aboard the International Space Station. The ceremony took place May 2.
