
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. --- Kaoru Mamiya, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency vice president, answers a question during a media briefing held after the successful landing of space shuttle Endeavour to conclude the STS-123 mission. Endeavour landed on the second opportunity, on orbit 250, at 8:39:08 p.m. EDT. The STS-123 mission delivered the first segment of the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency's Kibo laboratory and the Canadian Space Agency's two-armed robotic system, known as Dextre.
