KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. -- In the Space Station Processing Facility, members of the STS-118 crew learn important information from technicians about the control moment gyro (CMG) in front of them that is part of the payload on their mission. Second from left is Mission Specialist Tracy Caldwell; at right are Mission Specialists Richard Mastracchio (pointing) and Clayton Anderson, who will be flying on STS-118 to join the Expedition 15 crew as flight engineer on the International Space Station. The CMG will replace a faulty one on the International Space Station. The payload also includes the SPACEHAB single cargo module, the third starboard truss segment (ITS S5) and the external stowage platform 3 (ESP3).
