Checking her glove is Mission Specialist Heidemarie Stefanyshyn-Piper. The simulation is the culmination of Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities at NASA's Kennedy Space Center. The crew is getting ready for their launch on Space Shuttle Atlantis, scheduled to take place in a window that opens Aug. 27. During the 11-day mission to the International Space Station, the STS-115 crew will continue construction of the station and install their cargo, the Port 3/4 truss segment with its two large solar arrays.
