KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - Many pieces of Columbia debris delivered from the search and recovery efforts in East Texas are stored and stacked on the perimeter of the RLV Hangar. More than 82,000 pieces have been shipped to KSC, and 78,760 have been identified to date. Key pieces have been placed on the floor, within the outline of the orbiter.
