KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- Dressed in their orange launch and entry suits, the STS-104 crew eagerly walk to the Astrovan that will take them to Launch Pad 39B and a simulated countdown exercise. The crew is taking part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test activities, which include emergency exit training from the orbiter, opportunities to inspect their mission payloads in the orbiter’s payload bay and simulated countdown exercises.
