(Lee) Briscoe, chief engineer for the Mission Operations Directorate, watch their monitors at the MOD console in the shuttle flight control room (WFCR) as the external tank oxygen vent hood is raised and retracted minutes prior to the launch of the Space Shuttle Atlantis.
