An aerospace research engineer and technicians inspect the X-59 Commercial Supersonic Transport model’s installation and alignment before testing. The blade hanging from the top of the tunnel will be measuring the shock waves coming from the model during testing. The intent is to develop a supersonic aircraft with less sonic boom.
