NASA’s Ames Research Center in California’s Silicon Valley made key contributions to the SpaceX Demo-2 mission to ensure that astronauts aboard the Crew Dragon spacecraft will be safe from launch to return. With decades of human spaceflight experience, Ames contributed its facilities and expertise in aeronautics, engineering and technology to the mission.
