AX-5 Space Suit (Hardsuit) attached to donning stand: This demonstration of new sizing techniques shows the suit adjusted to accommodate the Astronaut's small size. The hardsuit while maintaining mobility offers the astronaut greater protection from debris, micrometerorite penetration, radiation and thermal loads during EVA operations. Developed by NASA Ames.
