
CAPE CANAVERAL, Fla. - Inside the Space Station Processing Facility at Kennedy Space Center in Florida, the Lightweight Multi-Purpose Equipment Support Structure Carrier carrying the Ammonia Tank Assembly, is lifted by crane for installation into the payload canister. The carrier is part of the STS-131 mission payload for delivery to the International Space Station aboard space shuttle Discovery. The STS-131 mission will also deliver the multi-purpose logistics module Leonardo, filled with resupply stowage platforms and science racks to the station. STS-131, targeted for launch on April 5, will be the 33rd shuttle mission to the station and the 131st shuttle mission overall.
