Expedition 12 Landing
Valery I. Tokarev, Russia’s Federal Space Agency Flight Engineer and Soyuz Commander; sees more people than he's seen in six months as personnel assist him in egressing his Soyuz spacecraft. Tokarev and William S. McArthur, Jr., NASA Commander and International Space Station Science Officer; along with Marcos C. Pontes representing the Brazilian Space Agency, returned to Earth onboard the Soyuz TMA-7 spacecraft. Touch down was on Sunday, April 9, 2006, in the steppes of Kazakhstan.
