
KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - From an upper level in the Vehicle Assembly Building, the orbiter Discovery appears small in comparison to the stack of External Tank and Solid Rocket Boosters behind it. Space Shuttle Discovery is waiting for rollout to Launch Pad 39B, expected to begin about 12:01 a.m. June 15 for the 4-mile, 6-hour trip. Space Shuttle Discovery's Return to Flight mission STS-114 is scheduled for liftoff in a window extending from July 13 to July 31.
