KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, FLA. - After the NASA Update by Administrator Sean O’Keefe, Center Director Jim Kennedy presented a One NASA Peer Award to Virginia Whitehead for her outstanding customer service. From left are Associate Administrator of Space Operations Mission Directorate William F. Readdy, O'Keefe, Whitehead, and Kennedy. Whitehead is a manager in the Center’s Payload Processing Directorate. The award is given to recognize employees who have demonstrated behaviors consistent with the spirit of One NASA and are called Peer Awards because candidates must be nominated by their peers.
