
KENNEDY SPACE CENTER, Fla. -- This high-level view shows the crawler transporter (right) as it is backing away from Space Shuttle Atlantis and the mobile launcher platform (MLP) on Launch Pad 39A. The crawler transporter moved the Shuttle atop the MLP from the Vehicle Assembly Building to the pad in about six hours. Discovery is scheduled to launch in early August on mission STS-105.
